How long will my order take to arrive?
Many of our items are crafted just for you after your order is placed, so in general please allow 5-7 days for production and shipping. Knitted products can take longer due to the nature of the knitting process. The average fulfillment time for knits is 7–12 days (7–12 business days from Jan–Oct and 9–16 business days from Nov–Dec), with shipping being up to 3 weeks depending on the destination. We do not offer rush orders. To ensure satisfaction, please carefully select your size and review the product images, as returns are accepted but come at our expense. What does it mean that items are made after the order is placed?
Most of our apparel items, along with select accessories and gifts, are crafted only after you place your order. This approach not only significantly reduces product waste but also prevents the buildup of excess inventory. By making each piece to order, we ensure that every item is thoughtfully created with care and attention, delivering a unique, high-quality product designed especially for you.
Which items are handmade?
Owning handmade items brings a special richness to your wardrobe and closet. Each piece—such as scarves and select bags—is a unique work of art, crafted by hand with care and intention and clearly labeled as handmade on the website. Beyond their distinctiveness, these creations carry a story—often made from materials that might otherwise be discarded, giving new life to what was once overlooked. While certain elements, like wool yarn, may be sourced new to ensure quality and longevity, every item is thoughtfully designed and expertly crafted to be both beautiful and enduring. Where do you get ideas for the designs?
Our designer is passionate about the art of design, dedicating time each day to drawing and experimenting with new ideas. She finds inspiration in the world around her, constantly researching, capturing stunning photos, and exploring fresh concepts. Lately, insects have caught her eye, so you’ll see more of those playful details popping up. But we love mixing things up to offer a diverse range of designs that speak to all kinds of tastes. How often do you get new products? What if what I want is sold out or unavailable?
We update our inventory frequently, so be sure to check back often for fresh designs. Some products are seasonal, while others are available year-round—bringing you new styles is truly our passion. If an item is sold out, seasonal products may return with the next collection, offering similar or even improved designs. For our handmade pieces, restocking depends on the time required to craft each item and the availability of carefully sourced materials. We believe in being intentional with every creation; making something just for the sake of it isn’t our style. We take pride in our handmade products and want you to feel proud to wear them too.
How do you return items? What happens if the item is damaged?
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us promptly so we can assist you. However, if you receive your order and wish to return it due to size, color, change of mind, or any other reason, please note that returns are more limited. While our designs are original, many items are produced by a third-party manufacturer who does not accept returns. Booker & Weft covers production costs upfront, so returns represent a significant expense for us.
As a small startup, we kindly ask you to carefully review your order details—size, color, and design—before purchasing to help avoid complications. Excessive returns may force us to discontinue return acceptance, though this policy may evolve as we expand our in-house production capabilities.
